Description

The TS-470-K Series Damper Position Switch is an enclosed mercury switch (model TS-470-K) or mercury free switch (model TS-475-K) mounted on a 1/2" damper crank arm. It can be attached to a damper control shaft to give an indication of damper position when the cable end drops more than 15° below horizontal.

Installation

Mount on 1/2" shaft, tighten setscrew, route wire to avoid physical damage to wires. Connect wires by color code. Black - common, red - normally open, blue - normally closed. Apply the switch within the rated voltage and currents. The unit contains a small amount of mercury. If the switch fails, please return in to MDI or dispose of it properly.
